Ah! A moment to breathe

As I write this, the radio is playing a Violent Femmes song but there is no sound other than that lovely music. Well, the birds apparently enjoy the Femmes as much as I. See where I'm going with this? Notice what sound is missing?

WHERE ARE THE KIDS? LOL!

*sigh* It's so quiet, I hate to jinx it.
The kiddos are next door working with the new neighbor. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name right now. But that is only due to my faulty memory, she is quite a sweet lady. The boys are helping put up hay for the horses. (I can't think of a better way to let them learn community service. This is perfect! The boys *love* it.)

Today I realized we are already 8th "official" week of homeschooling for this year. So that puts it a little past time for compiling attendance and report cards. In the state of Kentucky we are required to keep this documentation however, we are not required to turn it into any office. It is simply kept as proof of homeschooling should any doubt arise.

This year I'm using these templates which are available free. I'm thinking of designing some cute ones using Microsoft Works soon.
