Ah! Such honesty is hard to face sometimes. I guess I really should dust the house.

Whew! It's been busy around here. There is so much I should update, but time is limited. So, a quick update-
* The Christmas gifts are bought and wrapped. (They are sitting under our new beautiful Christmas tree. I wish I could take a picture to share but my camera batteries are dead. Ah! That reminds me, I had better charge them before Christmas.)
* We traveled to GA over the weekend. While there we dropped off my husband's truck and our boat. We also found our new home! (Matter of fact, the boat and truck are sitting in our new garage now.) It's such a relief knowing exactly where we will be living before we get there. (You military families can appreciate this feeling, I'm sure.) 
(Isn't it a nice home? This monster has 1,890 square feet!)
* About half of our stuff is already packed. (My mother has been staying with us for about the past month and has helped with this project quite a bit.)
* We fired our old realtor and hired a fantastic new one. Hopefully our home in KY will sell or rent quickly. (Fingers crossed!)
* We move to GA in six days.
* Our lessons will resume (ha ha, begin) January 15th.
Okay, gotta run. There is so much to do. Today I will visit friends and pick up Christopher for an early Christmas. :)
I've been diggin' on birds lately. Last Christmas I had a bird nest Christmas tree. I LOVED it! (They were real bird nests we have collected over the years.)

2. Father finished college No. In my opinion, he did something better. He moved out of state, began working and purchased his own home by the age of 16. He owned his company soon there after. It was a very sucessful business, it has afforded him the half million dollar home where he currently resides. College would have slowed him down.

4. Mother finished college She didn't need to attend college or finish college. My mother was a perfect stay at home and caring mother for my critical early childhood years.

So, was I privileged? I wonder... are my children privileged? Did you notice the emphasis on education? Of course, it's discussing a traditional education with a heavy emphasis on college. I think an emphasis on non-traditional education is just as important. I believe that knowing what to do with some knowledge is far more important than lots of knowledge you can't use.

We borrowed a TV, hooked it up to the cable (Shhhh! Don't tell anyone!) and have been enjoying spring break.

After shoveling our sidewalks, Richie made $30 shoveling for several neighbors. (He also showed his community spirit by shoveling our direct neighbors ~and friend to the boys~ walkway for free.)

Am I the only one who believes their husband is incredibly fucking sexy when they do something like this? *This* gets me. This makes my motor run. :)
And we had a discussion... Big fucking chalk board is to be the title... no other will suffice. ;)
We also discussed the way we carry our wall color with us. :) What color was the wall in Ky honey? Oh yeah..it was chalk board green. :) (Perhaps,only a military family can enjoy that bit.)
