The past several days (January 20th - 23)

Monday was a sick/daddy off from work day.
Here's what we did the rest of the week:

Writing-
write about our trip to Atlanta/ King Tut 2 pages (R and D)
write/edit a friendly letter (R and D)
write spelling words each day 3 times (R and D)
write a list of your morning stuff (R and D)
write a list of your chores (R and D)
write CPQ 3 times each day (some cursive, others print) (R and D)
look up definitions of spelling words and write neatly



Reading-
silent reading each day 2 hours (R and D)
read aloud to Remington (boys alternate each day)

Math-
MUS lesson each day (R and D)
counting lessons (Remington)


Devan and Remington prepare the salt and powder mixture for our chicken mummy.


Richie was stuck with the job of washing the chicken body. (It's neck is still attached!)
History-
build sugar cube pyramids (all)
begin chicken mummy (all)
several worksheets on: Egypt, mummies, Pharaohs (all)



Home Ec/Lessons organization-
bought totes, one for each boy
bought 3 ring binders, one for each subject for each boy
completely organized daily materials

Misc.-
review inauguration process (all)
several worksheets about President Obama (R and D)
several worksheets about Chinese New Year (R and D)
worksheets on following directions (D)
created two books covering: counting, writing numbers, coloring (Rem)
Memorized two Bible verses for Awana (R)
