Christmas crafts

I came across WikiHow today and I have found it to be very interesting. There are many great crafts and I can't wait to do them with the boys. These are really cool, great for older crafters, and will look really cool around the house. I'm especially excited about the xmas card star.

Cinnamon cookie ornaments I'm hoping mine will look something like this.

Also, WikiHow is looking for photographers. As you will notice, some articles do not have the step by step pictures that make these projects easier to follow. Do you have a digital camera? Are you planning to do some of the items anyway? I think this is a really cool way for the boys to "publish work" online. :) I plan for us to photograph the cinnamon cookie ornaments.

This is a very swanky site. I really love all the different things this awesome mom is able to create. Please check it out.

**By the way, I will likely be adding to this unit of study all through the month. Check back for new additions.

Pinecone ball ornament
This *adorable* gumdrop ball ornament!
This ornament is so cute. I think I can replicate it with some swanky fabric, a hoop and a little bit of stitching.
Hmmmm, I must be fond of birds this year. I think we will make some of these as well.

Can you please tell me how to do that link thing - when it says WikiHow and you can click it??

  2. Okay, so forget the decorations! This site shows how to pick a lock. So much cooler! I am going to learn as soon as possible. It would be really handy to have the tools in my car if I ever manage to actually lock my door before I leave home! LOL
