I set to work. I was determined to create my own planner for this upcoming year of lessons. I revisited my past plans, read through our old planners to see how and what types of things I needed room for. (And which parts of the planners sat empty.) I created a simple layout and set out to find the book to keep it in. I had originally planned to buy preprinted pages of some sort for my DayRunner.

Lately we've been focusing our end of year studies with Christopher. Believe it or not, he will be graduating this month and moving on to the "real world". :) Monday he begins his full time apprenticeship program with his Grandfather in the family business. I enjoy this man's thoughts and agree with him. I would also like to add that state schools go one step further when they teach the students to remain complacent while all civil rights are stripped. (Case in point, lock downs and searches at school.)

Wonderful! I found this video today as I searched YouTube for skip counting videos. (These are homeschooled kids too.) The majority of skip counting videos I found weren't really useful as there was actually very little skip counting happening.
